My descriptive writing

I chose this piece of writing because this is my most descriptive writing i have done this year.

Rasela has natural long hair black hair hanging down like branches. Her eyes are light brown, but guys don't forget that her eyebrows are on fleek! Her lips are Rosy red that stand out all the time. Rasela's perfect shaped body continually stays strong. Her bold striped red dress hangs down like a mini tutu. Rasela imagines that her dress screams like a little kid crying. Her legs are long that it is taller that everyones.

Term 3 Reflection

In term 3 we had lots of fun with a variety of events and tasks to complete.

The most challenging task this term for me was speeches. Speeches are really nerve-racking to share in front of Room 15. I was lucky enough to not be in the semi finals for speeches. It is challenging for me to write and plan a speech.

What I enjoyed this term was production. Production is better than sharing a speech. I enjoyed production because their were lots of different cultures preforming. The Maori group of girls had to wear Maori dresses and Pu Pu, and the boys would have to wear no t-shirt but a boy Pu Pu. Vardon school had lots of fun sharing in front of their own parents and other children's parents.

What was so successful for me to complete in term 3 was henna art design. Often girls in India can have henna done, but also boy's in India can have henna done. Henna art design is used to be put either on you hands or feet. A henna design is like different pattens and as much detail as possible.

PMI Reflection

This is my Term 2 reflection.

Plus. My plus is moving up a higher level in reading.

Minus -When Miss Roskam had to leave because she was having a baby.

Interesting. My most interesting thing is practising p.e in the afternoons with Miss Wyllie, Miss Wolf, Mrs Gun and Mrs Roskam, this is because we can practise getting better at things.

SMART GOALS

For My focus the term I have created three new smart goals that I will achieve this  year. My first reading specific goal is to understand what I am saying and to read the main text message in the story. My math specific goal is to use different strategies in my math to understand what I mean. My Writing specific goal is to add past tense and present tense in my writing to make more interesting.

Karakariki Camp 2015.

Room 15 has been doing some pic monkeys about Karakariki camp. Here is mine that i have made on pic monkey. On the top right corner is a picture at over night camp. On Wednesday room15 got to go to over night camp. On the bottom right corner there is a picture of  quarter of room15 doing the hard level group for caving. When you are doing caving you MUST respect it. The next day was the activity day. It was fun because my favourite activity was Bmxing because i have never done it before but that was my first time doing Bmxing. If you can see that on the 2nd top right corner is a picture of Kaylee doing tree climbing at camp.When I started tree climbing I was frightened that I was going to fall, but Stuart had my back.  I asked Andy  if I could come down and he said yes. So I was glad that I got down. Thank you all parents that came to camp with us. Room 15 and 14 appreciate it.

P.J Party

On Friday week two room 15 had a P.J party in the class. Room 15 voted for different movies and the movie room 15 got to watch was Monster University. My favourite part at the P.J Party in the class was when the movie started. Room 15 got to have a PJ party and a movie because room 15  achieved  there goal by putting the alien up to the rocket.
